Mark Perline, Market Research Manager for Pitney Bowes, along with Dr. Trudy Williams of The Company Crayon, Inc., will be presenting unique market research case studies from one of the world’s top companies in business technology and office products. Mark Perline, Market Research Manager, Global Mailing Systems Planning and Analysis, Pitney Bowes Mark Perline is a 20+ year veteran of major ad agencies and market research firms who joined Pitney Bowes to conduct strategic research – and found himself thrust into a customer sat measurement role. This has proven to be a natural, and enjoyable switch, from years of product testing, concept testing and copy testing for clients like P&G, Lever, Frito-Lay, Citibank, Corning and Price Waterhouse. If you pull Mark aside he may talk to you about developing advertising strategy for the launch of Liquid Tide…or telling an investment banking firm they needed a major overhaul of their image – and how to do it. In his current position, Market Research Manager, Global Mailing Systems Planning and Analysis, Mark is responsible for measuring customer satisfaction/ loyalty and developing targeted customer retention programs for Pitney Bowes postage meters and mail processing equipment. This role has taken him to a leadership position in implementing VOC programs and effecting culture change toward a more customer-focused organization.. Mark has a BA in Psychology from the State University Of New York and an MBA in Marketing from Baruch College. He lives in Monsey NY with his four children. He has no spare time but enjoys traveling, tennis, and aviation.
Trudy Williams has combined years of business experience with skills in art (BFA, Cornell) and expertise in cognitive psychology (PhD, CUNY) to develop her company’s signature product, Concept Cartoons™. Trudy is very proud to be the 2005 recipient of the ARF Innovative Entrepreneurial Award for Excellence in Research and Development.
