Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 Living the Brand: A Ground Level View of Effective Service Design Alex Frankel, author of the new book Punching In, will talk about ways in which today’s most innovative companies design the service experience. In writing Punching In Frankel took a two-year journey undercover, during which he worked on the frontlines of such recognizable brands as Starbucks, UPS, and The Apple Store. By working on the inside, Frankel was able to see and feel how these companies build strong service cultures and ultimately strong brands. Frankel will share his experiences and ideas for how both marketers and product and service designers can build more effective customer experiences. Speaker Alex Frankel has written for Fast Company and Wired about business culture and is also the author of “Wordcraft: The Art of Turning Little Words into Big Business” and the founder of consultancy Ground Level Research. Frankel’s Punching In will be released by Harper Collins in November 2007. Event Logistics Date : Tuesday, December 11th, 2007
