Abstract:

How many times have we heard “Don’t judge a book by its cover?” How about the only slightly less famous saying, “Don’t judge how a wine will taste by the bottle!”

Liquor producers spend a lot of money to design a brand that will appeal to your senses, and ultimately get you to grab their product off the shelf. Our final PDMA event of 2008 is a fun, interactive session where you become the brand manager for a Red Wine, White Wine, or Beer (depending which table you choose at the event!). Teams will get their creative juices flowing and create a label for the “blind” product at their table.

Our facilitator, Lauri Flaquer, will lead the session and explore how great brands tap into customers’ pre-existing relationships and past experiences to develop loyal followings. The fun part comes when teams take their newly branded product and “sell it” to the group. Don’t miss this insightful and educational journey into the adult beverage industry and how they’re depending on us to “judge a bottle by its label.”
