The Secret to Building High Performance Teams

 

In the June 2006 chapter meeting, Richard Eppel introduced us to the fundamentals of creating and managing high performance development teams. Richard's lecture was excellent for anyone developing products or services, with a small dedicated group or a large cross-functional entity. He gave essential tools and insights for accelerating performance and achieving breakthroughs!

- What constitutes a high- performance development team capable of producing breakthrough results
- How the team’s conversational dynamics affects the results the team is able to produce
- The importance of the interaction between specific language approaches and corresponding actions in building relationships and trust.
- How to improve the team’s coordination of action.

The presentation provided tools and techniques make your own assessment of where you are and what you have to do to create a performance breakthrough within your product development team.
