NPDPWhat is NPDP Certification?

NPDP (New Product Development Professional) certification enriches both individuals and their organizations.

As a discipline, it provides individuals with the most current thinking in new product development.

NPDP certification is a structured preparation and examination process covering a wide range of product development knowledge. Areas of knowledge include:

  • New Product Strategy
  • Portfolio Management
  • New Products Process
  • Development Tools and Metrics for Success
  • Market Research Techniques
  • Teams, People and Organizational Issues

NPDP certified professionals and their organizations can be confident that they have the most current thinking in new product development.

NPDP certification also requires professionals to stay up to date with best practices in new product development. A minimal number of Professional Development Hours (PDH) is required to maintain certification.

PDMA Georgia aims to provide events that satisfy this requirement by regular attendance at its meetings and events.

You can learn about the NPDP certification on the PDMA Web Site
