Product Development Engineering Manager
Dynamic, worldwide manufacturer of values and control systems is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for their NE GA facility. This individual will be instrumental in the continued high performance of a group of independent, very talented Engineers. This opportunity will provide a diverse work environment, with new, exciting technology. The position also provides stability of a company with a strong history and growth potential.
Responsibilities include, but not limited too: Managing a global team of Engineers and Technical individuals. Overall responsibility for training and developing Engineering staff. New product development, design and integration of products. Interacting with internal and external customers. Maintaining high global engineering standards, while putting priority on cost reduction.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in mechanical, electrical and/or electromechanical products.
- Fluid power background a plus.
- 5+ years management background required.
- Solid experience in a product engineering environment.
- Experience working in an environment of internal product development (innovation) and external market driven development.
- Proven experience as a manager with the ability to drive a team and motivate employees.
- Honest, ethical, professionally aggressive personality preferred.
- Experience interacting with customers, sales, marketing and product development.
- Some international experience a plus.
- BS EE or BS ME required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Ideal candidate will be open to promotion opportunities and/or possible relocation.
