We take networking seriously, but innovation should be fun. Once a year we combine the two. In this event, Jeneanne Rae (see below) once again led us in a creative and fun exercise that mixed very well with the beer and food.

TRIZ is used at Ford, Motorola, Procter & Gamble, Eli Lilly, Jet Propulsion Laboratories, 3M, Siemens, and Phillips, LG. TRIZ research began with the hypothesis that universal principles of invention are the basis for creative innovations that advance technology. These have been identified and codified, and taught to make the process of invention more predictable.

Jeanenne Rae
Prior to Georgetown, she was a Principal at IDEO, the world’s leading design and development firm, where she forged successful design innovation relationships with Pepsi, Kodak, Amtrak, Ford, Intel, America Online, and the IRS. She has an MBA from Harvard.
